Only thing is it is a lot more work and more time consuming and you don’t have endless products you can create that would make a good selling WSO. Though the return is still better than solo ads for list building.
i have been watching the count down and cant see it any course available yet? thought it would be ready in a few weeks then it was extended and now i cant see anything i dont know if im looking at the wrong placee
Hey Monkeys, What do you guys consider the most absolutely essential financial related novels that every student should read before their first SA job? The Intelligent Investor is pretty typical but what other books are deemed necessary to gain an underst …
That is my exact mentality when it comes to this site. There are only so many hours in a day… the few strategies I’ve offered are ones that I use on my own clients and have had success with, but since I don’t have the time to take on any new clients, creating a WSO allows me to continue to monetize a good strategy.
After seeing some of the price tags on the “Guru” solo ad coaching I knew that I could make a better course, offer it for cheaper than the $1,000’s that the other courses were charging and be successful with it.
I always go by this rule. Never promote anything that you would not recommend to your family, and always buy the products, before you promote them. How can you promote something that you are not willing to spend the money on, you shouldn’t, period!
I have purchased dozens of products on Warrior forum but more than 90% of the products are only junk. I stopped buying these products almost 1 year back. If you want to test before promoting then the problem is you have to buy 10 products to get 1 good product & promote it. You will waste money & time on these 10 products.
I totally love your blog and your writing style. Thanks for the list above. I noticed it doesn’t include some of the ones I would have thought might be obvious. When I saw Kristi Hines here I definitely had to subscribe to your list. If you’re friends, remember to buy her a cup of coffee.
Second, I setup an email to go out on the fourth day after someone had joined the course inviting them to leave an honest review in the sales thread in exchange for a free 30 minute Skype coaching session with me.
2015 has been a solid year filled with great finance book releases. I enjoyed and recommend the following: Stress Test by Tim Geithner Shaky Ground by Bethany McLean The Fes Reserve and the Financial Crisis by Ben Bernanke What are some that you all enjoy …
Last year, it generated $8 billion in global revenues. By 2020, it’s predicted to blast through the roof to $47 billion. Famed investor Mark Cuban says it will produce “the world’s first trillionaires,” but that should still leave plenty of money for regular investors who make the right trades early.
Engage them with your questions, most of the time, it will be too silly they’ll ignore but the odd ones do reply and guide you with ebooks or articles you should have a read on. It not only puts you in the scene, you also gain some sort of ‘klout score’ that enables you send direct message to the top marketers when the time comes to make money. If your offer’s great. They’ll surely like to know more information
Imagine targeting thousands of different niches and being able to have all the viral content for those niches at your finger tips… Now imagine being able to swipe this viral content to grow your fanbases on Facebook (or to use for retargeting lists), and get 300% + more ads reach… which always results in a huge increase in leads that makes you more dollars long term.
Aaron gives WSO an insider’s perspective on life on The Track through the cynical lens of a typical IB analyst-to-PE associate. His pseudonym is a sarcastic commentary on all of the ruthlessly ambitious New Yorkers whose careers will ultimately peak at Vice President. When he’s not hunting down his rivals, Aaron can be found otherwise keeping it real and telling it like it is.
The problem is: A lot of people today want everything for nothing and don’t want to put any kind of spin or action into anything. Just take a look at some of the scraping sites where people give away people’s WSOs and how many people lurk there requesting things.
As far as promoting the funnel outside the WF I am still thinking about it. I am trying to decide right now between continuing and growing The List Builders Academy or moving into the building blogs realm (something I have been wanting to do for a long time). So still up in the air.
300 Hours writes about the CFA exams, but without evangelical fervour. Instead he focuses on helping fellow simians pass the exams or decide if they’re right for them in the first place. If you’re considering the CFA or deep in the trenches, have a read through a post or two, or check out 300Hours.com.

JVNotifyPro is a great resource and I have been using it for wuite a while now. For an affiliate marketer, it is a good site to be associated with as you get first hand notification of upcoming products and as you know, sometimes, being an early adopter can work wonders 🙂 Anyway, the key is indeed “finding the right” affiliate program and stick to it for a little while 🙂 Great advise
But most of the Warriors that you will come across on the Warrior Forum or similar forums are not making 10% of what they claim and are making chump change in the delusional hope that one day they will have a proper online business.
Ama, you mentioned the “refund rate” in your article but I believe that need a bit more explanation. Let’s take a down-to-earth example. We recently launched an affiliate campaign for our online coffee shop and got an affiliate who sent us a customer. The customer makes a $100 purchase. The affilite gets his $5. Soon a refund is requested (the client wanted a decaf coffee, for example). How do we deal with the $5 that we sent to the affiliate. What I expect is that we need to state the refund period (say, 7 days) and the affiliate money are released only after those 7 days. Is that correct?
If you can find a reputable (very few and far between) product within the War Room that teaches any specific subject, and it’s current, then maybe you can pick up a few tips. If you take a moment to look at the how the information is delivered inside of the War Room, then you will quickly understand why it’s so hard to find relevant topics.

Last phase is product maturity. Affiliates sales will decrease but at this point you should have a loyal customer base. You can promote your product to various customers by different selling techniques. Or you can add new features to your existing product to attract new customers.

Following a day of listening to death metal, In the Flesh came up with his username and decided it was time to give back to WSO now that he was working as a full time Hedge Fund professional. “I learned more from WSO than most of the professors and advisors at my school combined…I’m excited to be able to give back.”
I read your article and enjoyed reading it. I am on the opposite side of the fence though: trying to find an affiliate marketing program / company to go with so I can get people like you to promote my products. To be honest I am a bit at a loss for words. It seems like this industry is full of sharks that not just affiliates want to avoid, but also people like me (merchants?).
Makes sense. Some do great doing it that way if the EPCs are really high. I guess it’s more those who already have a reputation and history of past high EPCs that have a better time getting JVs prelaunch with a jv page and contests, cause JVs go by their past stats.
In other words once you sign someone up from you affiliate link, do you need the cookie present to earn recurring income every month from services that do offer that or its enough to just sign them up under your link.
